Hi, if you can read this advert then probably your English is sufficient for this job.
We are a long established company in Lithuania working in telecommunication area. Our main business area is importing specialised electronics and fibre optics equipment mainly targeted towards Telecom/Operator companies in Europe.
Currently we are looking for the suitable candidate with solid background in electronics to join our buying office in Shenzhen the capital of electronics equipment in China.
The main role of the offered job is to act as our technical expert and specialist in the sourcing of specialised electronics and fibre optics products. It involves working closely with suppliers, purchasing team in Shenzhen, as well as the colleagues in Lithuania. Solid background and experience in electronics is necessary but doesnt necessarily have to be in the Telecom area.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical specialist/advisor.
- Analyse and research technical aspects of new products.
- Help evaluate new factories from the technological basis point of view.
- Regular communication with the engineers in supplier factories.
- Testing and analysing the samples.
- Create and maintain thorough Quality Control procedures for each product.
- Perform Quality Control for the ordered products.
Skills Required:
- Solid background in electronics engineering.
- Experience using various testing equipment.
- Understanding how electronics products work down to PCB, component level.
- Quick learner and able to adapt to different environments.
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated and results-driven individual.
- Good spoken and written English language command.
- Great attention to details, patience and persistence.
This is a great opportunity for a suitable candidate to become part of rapidly expanding buying office in China and to discover how things are actually made here.
The travelling, VISA as well as accomodation in China would be fully taken care of by the company. Salary depends on the experience.
